HR People First Consultancy provides cost-effective human resources (HR) solutions to small and medium businesses in the United Kingdom that do not have an in-house HR team. Services are tailored to the unique needs of each client and may include recruitment, compensation and benefits, contracts, policies and procedures, training and development, visa coordination, payroll management, grievances, redundancy, and legal compliance. They also work with clients to achieve B Corp certification and other accreditations. HR People First contributes a percentage of time to pro bono services, volunteers at local schools, mentors students, and teaches employability skills. They are Disability Confident Committed, an accredited Living Wage Employer, a certified B Corporation, and a member of Social Enterprise UK. They keep package rates as low as possible to support freelancers and startups from all backgrounds. Hues of Batik

Hues of Batik creates ethical designer wear from locally dyed fabrics and provides flexible livelihood opportunities to women in the Rajagiriya area who are unable to seek traditional employment. They specialize in quality craftsmanship and long-lasting classic designs. Hues of Batik partners with a small dye workshop that has onsite water treatment facilities and follows environmental best practices. Their Zero Waste collection is made from offcut batik materials. They create unique hand embroidered patchwork designs from small fabric pieces and handwoven belts from the smallest scraps.


Huile De Argan

Huile de Argan supplies cold-pressed pure argan oil from small-scale producers in Agadir, Morocco. They raise awareness about the benefits of argan oil for natural skin and hair care.


HUMANA Kleidersammlung

HUMANA Kleidersammlung collects and sorts used clothing and shoes in Germany to benefit people and the planet. They introduced the first clothing collection containers in 1988, developed reliable nationwide collection systems, and established a sorting facility in Hoppegarten with industry-leading re-wear rates. The clothing is sorted by hand into more than three dozen categories, and sold to partners in Germany and abroad. Their sorting process ensures that shipped wearable clothing meets the needs of local people and unwearable items are recycled or disposed of by specialized buyers. HUMANA Kleidersammlung creates transparent and externally verified carbon footprint and material flow reports. All surplus is reinvested or used for development cooperation through HUMANA People to People member organizations. HUMANA Kleidersammlung is a member of Social Entrepreneurship Netzwerk Deutschland (SEND), Bundesverband Nachhaltige Wirtschaft (BNW), Bundesdeutscher Arbeitskreis für Umweltbewusstes Management (BAUM), and Bundesverband der Deutschen Entsorgungs, Wasser, und Kreislaufwirtschaft (BDE).


Human and Environment Development Organization (HEDO)

Human and Environment Development Organization (HEDO) is a Sri Lankan sustainable development organization working for a society where humans and the environment are in harmony. They have worked with smallholder rubber farmers on energy efficient rubber drying houses, biogas systems using rubber wastewater, transitioning to organic rubber cultivation, and supplemental livelihood activities like mushroom cultivation. HEDO markets black tea from small-scale forest gardens under the Green Lanka brand. The tea is grown using agroecological practices without synthetic fertilizers, weedicides, fungicides, and pesticides.


HUMANA Secondhand & Vintage

HUMANA Secondhand & Vintage offers unique and affordable secondhand products to reduce resource consumption and waste and fund development cooperation. They operate more than 40 shops across Germany, including the largest secondhand shop in Europe, with a wide selection of used clothing, shoes, accessories, and household textiles. HUMANA Secondhand sources from HUMANA Kleidersammlung and prioritizes items that are collected and sorted in Germany to minimize their carbon footprint. They promote sustainability and conscious consumption online and through their shops and accept clothing donations at all locations. HUMANA Secondhand does not issue dividends. All profits are reinvested or contributed to development projects by HUMANA People to People member organizations.


Humana Spain

Humana Spain collects, sorts, and resells used clothing and shoes to protect the environment and improve the living conditions of communities in developing countries. Since 1987, their secondhand stores have been diverting textile waste from landfills, creating green jobs, and contributing to a circular economy. Unwearable items are sold to recycling companies. Humana Spain uses their proceeds to fund environmental awareness, urban agriculture, and other local initiatives in Spain and development cooperation programs in Africa, Latin America, and Asia. International work has focused on education, health, renewable energy, sustainable agriculture, and community development. Humana Spain has ISO 14001 and Eco-Management and Audit Scheme (EMAS) certification. They are a member of Asociación Española de Fundaciones, Federación Española de la Recuperación y el Reciclaje, Fundacions en Cataluña, and the Humana People to People Federation.

Human First Works helps purpose-driven leaders develop high-performing, sustainable workplaces, expand their impact, and make the world a better place. They focus on founder coaching, business assessments, sales acceleration, values aligned strategy, team chartering, and organizational design. Human First Works draws from a wide range of established and emerging tools and practices that can be adapted to the unique requirements of each company and its teams. They pledge one percent of their services to worthy community organizations and one percent of profits to the planet.


Humanism Global

Humanism creates dignified employment opportunities for humans from marginalized and low income communities. They work with women in southern India to produce ethical event merchandise, like customized tote bags, T-shirts, masks, and lanyards, and accessories made from upcycled sarees and organic cotton. Humanism is committed to providing sustainable income, a safe and inclusive work environment, access to training and development programs, self care activities, and an opportunity for collective agency.


Humanist Beauty

Humanist Beauty creates healing plant medicinals and conscious artisanal goods with a focus on nurturing self-love and wellness for all humans regardless of color, gender, age, creed, status, or ability. Their vegan bar soaps, facial oils, and eye creams are artisanally crafted using naturally derived and ethically sourced ingredients. Humanist Beauty packages their own products in recyclable glass and paperboard. They've signed the Credo Beauty Pledge to stop sample sachets and single-use plastic, they've partnered with TerraCycle on a Zero Waste program to collect and recycle all beauty waste, including packaging from other brands, and they work with Carbonfund.org to offset all greenhouse gas emissions. Three percent of their gross revenue is donated to charitable organizations that benefit wellness, diversity, and the environment. Humanist Beauty is part of The Human Beauty Movement, which is registered as a public benefit corporation (PBC). They are a certified B Corporation, a WBENC certified Women's Business Enterprise, and a member of the Female Founder Collective and Social Enterprise Alliance. Their products are EWG Verified and certified cruelty free by Leaping Bunny.


HumaniTea

HumaniTea produces vegan iced tea lattes in the United Kingdom from real brewed tea, oat milk, and organic agave nectar. Their green tea latte uses organic matcha from Japan, and their classic tea latte uses Fairtrade organic Earl Grey from Rwanda. Products are low in sugar, free from preservatives and other additives, packed in aluminium cans because they are infinitely recyclable, and made with oat milk because it is the plant-based milk with the lowest carbon footprint and water requirements. HumaniTea uses five percent of profits to fund wellbeing and sustainability initiatives. They are part of Pan Asian Women’s Association (PAWA), Cambridge Social Ventures, and Social Enterprise UK.


Humanity Rising

Humanity Rising represents a movement of people and organizations coming together to take counsel on how to leverage the crisis of the coronavirus pandemic into an opportunity for human renewal and increased resilience to future challenges. The goal of the Solutions Summit is to create an international coalition strong enough to transform conversations that matter into actions that make a difference. Humanity Rising is an online program that is available to anyone with access to technology. Participant contributions are shared 50/50 with promoting partners, and participants that are not able to contribute are still welcome to join. Humanity Rising is hosted by Ubiquity University which offers extended educational opportunities including courses, certificates, and degree programs.


Human Milk Clothing

Human Milk Clothing offers responsibly sourced breastfeeding-related clothing and accessories and works to reduce the global number of maternal and infant deaths linked to infant feeding practices. Unlike traditional breastfeeding clothing that is engineered with additional holes and zips, their loose and stretchy tops are designed to be ideal for breastfeeding but also for long-term use beyond it. Products are made from sustainably sourced materials like GOTS certified organic cotton and FSC certified modal fabrics. Designs are inspired by the molecules in human milk and original artwork. Human Milk Clothing uses retail sales to fund educational outreach and programs and communicate the science of human milk and breastfeeding to parents, healthcare professionals, and the general public both nationally and internationally. They enable providers of prenatal and postnatal support services to provide evidence-based support to parents, empowering women to know and understand their own bodies, make informed choices, and be supported effectively if they choose to breastfeed. Human Milk Clothing is a registered Community Interest Company (CIC) and a member of Social Enterprise UK and the Organisation for Responsible Business (ORB).


Human Nature Snacks

Human Nature produces nutritious vegan foods that contribute to positive social and environmental impacts. They use lentils, peas, and other plant-based natural ingredients to produce flavorful snacks that have more fiber and protein and less fat than traditional fried crisps. Their packaging is recyclable and any plastic use is offset through the removal of ocean-bound plastic. Human Nature tracks their climate footprint from production through distribution, works on reduction targets, and offsets emissions by planting new forests. They prioritize suppliers, plastic removal partners, and tree planting partners that create fairly paid green jobs in marginalized communities. Human Nature is part of 1% for the Planet and donates at least one percent of annual sales to their Planet Impact Fund.


Human Quotient Group

Human Quotient Group was started to unlock human potential and create employment opportunities for veterans, defense partners, and women in Australia. They offer project management, training, consulting, and coaching services to address project and capability gaps across defense, government, and industry. Their people-first approach goes beyond formal credentials and focuses on harnessing the powers of emotional intelligence (EQ), and intellectual capability (IQ). Human Quotient Group provides pro bono and subsidized coaching, mentoring, and career development support to defense and veteran families. They also provide community connection and childcare through their signature Cowork Coplay program. Human Quotient Group is a Social Traders Certified Social Enterprise, a certified Australian Veteran Owned Business, and a member of the Social Enterprise Council of NSW & ACT (SECNA).


Human Resource Management Institute

Human Resources Management Institute focuses on making higher education affordable and accessible for Sri Lankan students. Fewer than 10 percent of students that sit the Advanced Level examinations get a seat in national universities. HRMI's Project Possible enables moderate students and low-income youth to earn a university degree and reach their full potential. HRMI partners with accredited international universities to offer globally recognized certificate courses, diplomas, bachelor's degrees and master's degrees. Their mission is to "enable and inspire individuals to make a difference" and support holistic development based on an explicit set of core values. HRMI teaches English to students in nearby public schools through their Kids Next Door project and raises funds for a government cardiac and critical care unit for children through their Little Hearts project.


Hunter Adults Financial Collaborative

Hunter Adults Financial Collaborative (HAFC) helps financially disadvantaged adults in the Hunter Region develop their own business ideas or access employment so they can become self-sufficient and follow their passions. They provide personalized training, mentoring support, and micro-loans and assist with business paperwork, business plans, marketing strategies, resume reviews, and interview preparations. HAFC mobilizes funds from mission-aligned foundations, governments, companies, and other partners so they can deliver their training and services for free to people in need. They are currently developing a recycled textile sewing cluster to provide employment opportunities, enable local manufacturing, and contribute to a circular economy. HAFC is a not-for-profit organization and reinvests all surplus towards their mission.


Hushele

Hushele produces natural herbal hair and skin care products and creates rural livelihood opportunities in Sri Lanka. They offer hair masks, hair creams, scrubs, skin packs, and serums made from virgin coconut oil, black gram, mung, sesame, aloe vera, amla, tulsi, turmeric, coffee, and other local ingredients. Hushele sources raw materials from their own land in Nochiyagama and from home gardeners in Kosgama, Kundasale, and Polonnaruwa. They use solar dehydrators, package products in biodegradable or recyclable materials, and minimize energy consumption and waste. Hushele raises awareness about Sri Lanka's endemic butterflies and contributes to conservation efforts. They are a member of Green Movement of Sri Lanka.
