Radha Lanka makes traditional healthy foods more accessible. They offer heirloom white rice and red rice flour, noodles, and dehydrated string hoppers and herbal energy drinks and porridge mixes made with traditional grains. Radha Lanka provides a substitute for imported wheat flour and noodles.
Radical Business provides actionable steps for companies that want to make a positive impact. The focus is on returning to the root purpose of business—meeting a customer's need, solving a problem, and providing value—and taking small steps towards positive change in seven key areas called the Seven Seeds: supply chains, employees, customers, community, competitors, environment, and self care. RadiCare Ventures fosters safe, clean communities in Calgary and creates meaningful employment opportunities for vulnerable individuals. They specialize in graffiti removal, professional cleaning, sharp object pickup, window cleaning, pressure washing, management of public disruptions, litter cleanup, event support, property management, washroom monitoring, and safe disposal of human waste. RadiCare Ventures employs people facing barriers to employment, provides training opportunities, offers flexible scheduling to accommodate employees with physical disabilities, and assists with paperwork so they can access disability benefits. They use their revenue to support RadiCalgary Society, a nonprofit that provides wraparound services to people experiencing homelessness, addiction, mental health concerns, language barriers, food insecurity, and other vulnerabilities. RadiCare Ventures is a Buy Social Canada Certified Social Enterprise.
Raga offers pure kithul syrup as a natural, local alternative to artificial sweeteners and refined sugars. They source the kithul sap from the hills of Giliamale and Ayagama in Ratnapura and maintain a unique traceability and quality control system. Trees are numbered, the pH and Brix values of the sap are tested before filtration, and containers are sealed and tagged with a unique barcode that provides all harvest and handling data. In order to attract and develop a new generation of kithul palm tappers, Raga provides direct employment, a monthly salary, safety equipment, and training. They are developing a refill and exchange service to promote reuse and recycling of glass bottles.
RagBag is an initiative by Karma Moksha Nirvana Foundation to reduce pollution, provide an alternative to single-use plastic bags, and create employment opportunities for women from underprivileged backgrounds. They collect used clothing from individual homes, resident associations, clubs, and other collection points in West Bengal and work with women's self-help groups to wash, dry, sort, cut, and stitch the collected clothing into reusable cloth bags. RagBag uses product sales and donations to pay the women, raise awareness, and distribute bags for free in markets and malls. They partner with other organizations and networks focused on social innovation and environmental conservation including Goonj, 3R Zero Waste, SwitchON Foundation, Myplan8, and Idobro Impact Solutions. All proceeds are reinvested towards their mission.

Their king coconut seltzers are available plain or with other natural ingredients like lime, grapefruit, and sea salt. Rah sources directly from farmers and is committed to fair pricing, environmental sustainability, and giving back to the community.
Rahui London offers vegan bags, wallets, and accessories that are ethically made from plant-based leathers. They focus on classic functional designs made from nopal cactus, pineapple leaf fiber, and apple waste leather alternatives with fabric linings made from Tencel or recycled PET. Their manufacturing partner is a Sedex member and SMETA audited. Packaging is plastic-free and printed with nontoxic water-based inks. Rahui London donates 10 percent of annual profits to the International Tree Foundation or other social and environmental causes. They have PETA Approved Vegan certification.
Rainforest Protectors Trust preserves rainforest in Sri Lanka through purchase and permanent conservation of privately held forest lands adjoining Sinharaja World Heritage Rainforest. Over the past century, more than 95 percent of the original ecosystem was destoyed, and the remaining forest is home to the majority of Sri Lanka's endemic and endangered flora and fauna. Rainforest Protectors Trust focuses on creating a protected buffer zone and a biodiversity forest corridor that connects fragmented patches of forest to the north of Sinharaja. They acquire lands that are under threat of being cleared and lands that have already been cleared and can be reforested for conservation. Low income groups are welcome to use the protected land for non-destructive restoration. Rainforest Protectors Trust does not employ any paid staff members and minimizes expenses. All funds are used for land acquisition and conservation.
Raised In runs children’s nurseries in community spaces across Bristol and builds strong, resilient, and well-connected communities. They deliver early years education for local children and pay commercial rent to local community partners so that they can continue providing services and support to the surrounding community. Raised In sources locally whenever possible, partners with a local early years kitchen to provide nutritious snacks and meals made with locally sourced ingredients, and works with their community partner landlords to install solar panels and heat pumps. They recruit and train local young people, help them achieve their first qualifications in childcare, offer continuing professional development, and provide discounted childcare for team members. Raised In is a Community Interest Company (CIC), an accredited Living Wage Employer, and a member of Social Enterprise UK. All surplus is reinvested in the local community.
Raise Snacks specializes in affordable, nutrient-rich, natural snacks and helps feed children at risk of hunger in the United Kingdom. They use roasted nuts and seeds, gluten-free oats, and chicory root to produce snacks that are high in protein, fiber, vitamins and antioxidants. Raise Snacks sources from accredited suppliers in the United Kingdom and the European Union and is committed to transitioning to environmentally responsible packaging. They raise awareness about diversity and inclusion and donate one percent of sales to Magic Breakfast through Work for Good.
WE Team is a network of young volunteers that organizes social service and charity initiatives. They started Raja Gedara to raise funds for these programs. Raja Gedara specializes in traditional Sri Lankan foods including kithul palm syrup and jaggery, bee honey with ginger, garlic, and cinnamon, sesame oil, coconut oil, and local sweets made from peanuts, sesame, and semolina. They source from small-scale rural producers and supply to supporters in urban areas. Proceeds are used to support WE Team service activities.
Rajapura Herbal has been producing herbal medicine in rural Moneragala since 1973. They specialize in treatments for asthma, gastritis, and arthritis developed by a family of traditional Ayurvedic doctors that can be traced back more than 300 years. Products are available islandwide, and prices are kept low to ensure accessibility. Rajapura Herbal works closely with raw material suppliers to ensure proper cultivation and wild harvest techniques. They contribute three percent of profits to a welfare fund for workers and an additional one percent for local community organizations and elders' homes. Rajapura is part of the Moneragala Environmental Society.
Ralahami is a spice, herb, and fruit plantation in Matiwala that is committed to social responsibility, economic empowerment, environmental protection, and maintaining a sense of community. They cultivate cinnamon, black pepper, ginger, turmeric, goraka, aloe vera, butterfly pea flower, banana, mango, papaya, lime, and jackfruit with homemade compost and organic practices. In order to protect workers, consumers, and the natural environment, no synthetic fertilizers, pesticides, or other agrichemicals are used. Food and agricultural waste are composted onsite, and the team is working to eliminate single use plastics from their supply chains. Reusable jute pouches and other compostable materials are used for packaging. Ralahami provides free recipes, cooking tutorials, and videos to encourage people to use natural, locally sourced ingredients. They share returns with workers and contribute to a welfare fund. Ralahami is verified under a local organic participatory guarantee system (PGS).
RampArts is an independent local art collective for Jersey creatives. They organize community projects that support networking and collaboration: exhibitions, art sales, fairs, classes, workshops, programs for children, live music events, public street art, murals, artist features, creative spaces, charity fundraisers, and more. Workshops are free for underprivileged families, and any revenue from ticketed events is used to support future projects. RampArts works with Salvation Army to reach out to people that might benefit from their free services and with Autism Jersey to adapt their work to meet the needs of people with autism. RampArts does not charge for their projects or services, does not take commissions on artwork sales, and does not receive institutional funding. Overheads are covered collectively through generous donations from RampArtists, supporters, and friends.
Rangala House offers hill country accommodation near the Knuckles forest reserve World Heritage Site. They produce sun-dried tomatoes, dried fruit, tahini sesame paste, peanut butter, marinades, and chutneys for the Sri Lankan market under the name Rangala House Gourmet. Raw materials are sourced from known local suppliers. Rangala House uses solar-powered driers with biomass backup and composts all organic waste material.
RangerLab equips and empowers wildlife rangers to protect nature at scale. They supply on-the-ground teams with quality equipment and ongoing support to improve their performance, ensure dignity, and boost morale. RangerLab focuses on under-resourced regions with rich biodiversity in Africa and Asia. They work with conservation partners across land, marine, and high-altitude environments to understand what’s needed and where it’s needed most. RangerLab socks were designed by and for wildlife rangers working in the harshest conditions and are now available to the public. These quality, all-purpose socks are ethically made in the United Kingdom using recycled materials from Ecotec®, which specializes in circular production techniques. RangerLab Studios, the trading arm for socks and other merchandise, is a Community Interest Company (CIC) and donates 100 percent of profits to RangerLab, which is a registered charity in the United Kingdom.
Rangsutra was started in 2006 to create sustainable livelihoods and global market linkages for highly skilled rural artisans in India. Today, the company is owned by more than 2,000 artisans who live and work in villages and small towns across Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Maharashtra, Kashmir, Manipur, and other regions. They offer handcrafted clothing, accessories, and textile housewares to retail customers and large wholesale partners like Fabindia and IKEA. Rangsutra uses traditional applique, hand embroidery, rallu, tie and dye, pattu weaving, handloom weaving, and other textile craft skills to create contemporary product designs. They provide fair wages, equal pay, safe working environments, and skills training. Their artisan shareholders are also decision-makers and actively participate in supply chain development. Rangsutra is working to minimize their environmental impact by sourcing responsible materials, installing solar panels, treating and recycling water, and reducing waste.
Rania Kinge Made by Women aims to improve the livelihoods of internally displaced, conflict affected women in Syria by training them to produce handmade bags, jewelry, and accessories, providing materials, and selling the finished products. They work in areas with no access to banking facilities, electricity, or fuel and adapt designs based on the women's experience, location, and context. The initiative enables participating women to sustain themselves and their families, provides a sense of purpose and hope, and helps preserve Syrian cultural heritage and identity.
