Dynamic4

Dynamic4 uses design and innovation to help create the conditions for happier communities and accelerate the transition to more regenerative ways of living and doing business. They work with leaders and founders to design, launch, and build regenerative business models through coaching, advice, and action learning programs. They also offer a practical guidebook called Solve Problems That Matter and free online tools and resources. Dynamic4 minimizes their carbon footprint, offsets 20 percent more than their calculated emissions each year, and has been climate-positive since 2010. They invest at least 10 percent of their annual revenue in the social enterprise ecosystem either as grants through Dynamic4 Good or by taking an equity position through Dynamic4 Ventures. Dynamic4 is a certified B Corporation and a founding member of the Social Enterprise Council of NSW & ACT (SECNA) and the Sydney Design Thinking Meetup.


E4Impact

E4Impact Foundation empowers passionate African entrepreneurs to build and scale strong, sustainable, and innovative businesses that create jobs and provide solutions to their country’s challenges. They work with an alliance of African universities and Università Cattolica in Milan to offer action-oriented entrepreneurial programs, including a Global MBA in Impact Entrepreneurship, an International Certificate in Entrepreneurship, and customized courses for local executive markets. The courses are provided at affordable prices based on the local context. Scholarships are available for women entrepreneurs and entrepreneurs with disabilities. E4Impact also supports incubation and acceleration programs through Entrepreneurship Centers, value chain and economic development projects, and partnerships between African and European companies. Alumni have access to long-term business support, events, networking, and trade opportunities with other impact entrepreneurs. E4Impact is part of Social Value International.


Earth Bar

Earth Bar aims to make Sri Lanka a healthier nation by growing nutrient-dense microgreens and edible flowers. Microgreens are considered superfoods because they contain up to 40 times more vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants than mature plants. Earth Bar focuses on urban vertical farming systems that require less water, space, and resources than conventional farming. They use renewable energy and locally sourced organic fertilizers with no synthetic fertilizers, fungicides, or pesticides. Their plastic grow trays are reusable and recyclable. Earth Bar provides microloans to workers to uplift their living standards.


Earthbound Creations

Earthbound Creations was started in 2013 by a Sri Lankan social entrepreneur to create handcrafted products from recycled waste materials. They are particularly known for their recycled newspaper pencils, bags, bowls, bins, and other households. Earthbound focuses on custom orders for national and international buyers, but they also have a local showroom in downtown Kandy. Earthbound started with 3 workers in 2013. By the end of 2016, they were providing home-based employment opportunities to 360 community members with a particular focus on women, rural youth, and people with disabilities.


Earth Group Global

Earth Group Global aims to awaken individual curiosity, focus attention on our relationships with each other, our architecture, and our bioregions, and increase alignment with the systems of the Earth as the basis of human health and wellbeing. They offer resources and education services through their website, social media, online mentoring sessions, and discussions. Books, trail guides, maps, and other materials are shared through libraries and community organizations. Earth Group Global connects people with embodied learning; heritage practices, architecture, and sites; regenerative design; and bioregional groups. They document and share stories from the present and the past that enable us to learn from our elders. Earth Group Global is a voluntary initiative by a community of trailblazers, collaborators, and consultants and operates on a not-for-profit open access basis. The founder has been a leader in the bioregional movement since the 1970s.


Earth Guardians Sri Lanka

Earth Guardians Sri Lanka is a group of young activists fighting against climate change as part of the global Earth Guardians network. Participants are between 8 and 21 years old and meet weekly to discuss ideas for collective action and work together on projects. This includes supporting the worldwide climate strike with peaceful awareness raising events, starting a collection point for old exercise books to be recycled, creating an online petition about reducing plastic in local supermarkets, planting trees, and raising awareness in school and with friends and family about how to act responsibly and make a difference. The Earth Guardians are working to purchase and plant 1,500 trees as part of a reforestation project in Habarana.


Earth Heir

Earth Heir increases the value of hand craftsmanship by engaging in ethical partnerships, infusing thoughtful design, and advocating for conscious consumption. ​​They collaborate with a network of traditional artisans and refugees in Malaysia to preserve heritage crafts and build sustainable livelihoods in underserved communities. Earth Heir creates bags, accessories, and housewares from upcycled cargo strips, handwoven fabrics, and locally sourced natural fibers like mengkuang, rattan, ribu-ribu, and bemban. They also offer unique hand embroidered jewelry with motifs honoring refugee artisans from Afghanistan, Palestine, Syria, Iran, and Myanmar. Earth Heir trains artisans on design, pricing, production processes, quality control, and supply chain management, provides financial support and market access, and follows fair trade practices. They donate a percentage of profits to tree planting via Weforest. Earth Heir is a certified B Corporation, a guaranteed member of the World Fair Trade Organization, and part of MADE51 by UNHCR the UN Refugee Agency.


Earthlings & Co

Earthlings & Co. specializes in sustainable and affordable toys and baby furniture handmade from cane and rattan by Sri Lankan artisans. They provide a safe and environmentally responsible alternative to imported plastic toys and furniture. Cane and rattan weaving is a craft that was passed down in certain Sri Lankan villages from generation to generation, but it began to decline with the introduction of cheap plastic consumer goods. Earthlings & Co aims to contribute to the revival of the cane and rattan sector and provide options to families that care about sustainability. Popular products include a play tea set, tea trolley, dressing table, bassinets, baby cots, and nappy changing baskets.


Earthly

Earthly is an app that makes it easy for people to come together and create a better world. Organizers can add initiatives to clean up waste, plant trees, help animals, serve people in need, or anything else that benefits their community and the environment. People can discover initiatives in their local area and volunteer or pledge support. Chat features make it easy to communicate and cooperate. Community members are able to maintain a portfolio that shows all of the initiatives they have created or contributed to. Earthly is a not-for-profit initiative and is freely available to anyone with a phone and internet connection.


Earthman

Earthman is a Korean fair trade organization. By serving as a storyteller and a bridge, they help connect communities and spread sustainable living around the globe. Earthman works with farmers and artisans in Laos that produce handwoven, naturally dyed cotton textiles and with farmers in Pakistan that grow organic cherries and apricots. Products are packaged in Korea by an organization that gives job opportunities to people with developmental disabilities. Earthman is a registered social enterprise, a guaranteed member of the World Fair Trade Organization (WFTO), and a member of the Association of Korean Fair Trade Organizations and the Fairtrade Marketing Organization in Korea. They organize workshops, participate in events, and educate students and consumers about fair trade.


Earth Organics

Earth Organics educates and empowers people to return to nature and become responsible stewards of the planet. They supply farming and gardening inputs and services that are inspired by regenerative, natural and organic principles and focus on restoring soil ecosystems, increasing carbon sequestration, growing in harmony with nature, producing healthy, nutritious crops, and increasing food security and food sovereignty. Earth Organics offers soil blends, soil conditioners, plant elixirs, enriched biochar, bio-active inputs, seeds, nursery plants, and DIY gardening and farming workshops with a focus on inclusive and affordable pricing. They use a portion of profits to organize free composting and farming workshops in low income communities, gift seeds, and supply food to families in need.


Earth Quotient

Earth Quotient offers bioenzyme home and body essentials, helps restore ecological balance, and creates sustainable livelihoods for marginalized communities in India. Their Magic Peels product line includes plant-based laundry detergents, dishwash soaps, and household cleaners, their Indrya collection includes soaps, natural personal care, and baby products, and their Anugun range includes pet care and bioenzyme gardening and agriculture products. All products are made from natural, food-grade ingredients by women, rural communities, or people with disabilities. Earth Quotient uses a portion of their profits to fund socio-ecological projects like tree planting, water body restoration, and livelihood training. They are a founding member of the Bioenzyme Entrepreneurs Academy of India.


EarthRestoration

EarthRestoration offers an opportunity to invest in primary ecosystem services (PES) through their biocurrency called LifeForce. The primary ecosystem services most critical for human existence are products of photosynthesis (oxygen, clean water, and fixed carbon) and can be measured using photosynthetic biomass as a proxy. Investments are used to pay farmers to look after trees for 4 years until they are mature and established as biological assets producing PES for the future. EarthRestoration has developed a system for geo-tagging, monitoring photosynthetic biomass for different varieties of trees, and offering outcome based payments to participating farmers. They envision a future marketplace based on this PES-backed biocurrency. Their land in Beragala is verified under a local organic participatory guarantee system (PGS).


Earth's Finest

Earth's Finest supplies organic food to the Middle East to support healthy lifestyles and raise awareness that human health is intrinsically linked to the wellbeing of our planet. They started with organic certified coconut oil, butter, milk, and cream and expanded to organic teas, quinoa, chia seeds, flours, natural sweeteners, and other sustainably sourced foods. Earth's Finest prioritizes environmentally responsible packaging that is compostable or easily recyclable.


Earth To Earth Organics

Earth To Earth Organics creates handmade vegan skincare that protects your skin and the planet. They use responsibly sourced natural and organic ingredients to produce butters, oils, and washes that are safe for all skin types and can help soothe eczema, psoriasis, and dry sensitive skin. Earth to Earth prioritizes glass, aluminium, and cardboard packaging that is easily recycled or biodegradable. The family recently moved to the Welsh countryside so they can grow their own ingredients, restore and build the soil and biodiversity, and connect with local growers and land protectors. Earth to Earth Organics gifts free organic seed packs to their customers and plants trees with every order.


Earth Unleashed

Earth Unleashed was started by three friends with a shared interest in environmental conservation and sustainable fashion. They partnered with a local manufacturer in Sri Lanka to produce affordable everyday clothing with nature inspired designs. Earth Unleashed t-shirts are made from organic certified cotton, printed with environmentally responsible ink, and delivered in biodegradable packaging. Designs feature the local sambar deer, pangolin, sea turtle, and blue whale. Earth Unleashed participates in invasive plant removal, beach cleanups, and environmental awareness campaigns. A percent of sales is donated to the Aththidiya Wildlife Rehabilitation Center and other conservation initiatives.


Earthwhile

Earthwhile creates comfortable handwoven clothing in India from low-impact indigenous cotton and other consciously sourced materials. They partner with farming organizations in Kutch and Maharashtra that focus on traditional organic cotton production. Earthwhile uses environmentally responsible dyes and materials including plant-based natural dyes and tagua nut buttons. They are part of Creative Dignity and Flourish.


EASE Foundation

EASE stands for Educate, Advocate, Support and Empower. EASE Foundation works to create productive, stimulating lives for people with disabilities by educating them, their families, and society. They are committed to changing social attitudes and creating "a world where we all belong." EASE Foundation specializes in autism and provides training in alternative and augmentative communication strategies for people with speech impairments. Their approach presumes competence and is based on the belief that everyone needs an age-appropriate means of communication to take their rightful place in mainstream life. EASE Foundation also produces a line of hand-painted stools, bottles, table mats, frames, and other housewares. All sales are used to support and empower people with disabilities.


Eastern Soy Products

Eastern Soy Products provides affordable nutrition with no harm to animals. They produce fresh tofu and distribute it to Sri Lankan supermarkets and other retailers to make it easier for people to transition to plant-based diets. Eastern Soy Products is committed to responsible production practices and waste reduction. They supply okara, the byproduct of bean curd production, for use in other soy-based products.


East Surf Cabanas

East Surf Cabanas offers food, accommodation, surf lessons, and travel experiences around Arugam Bay on Sri Lanka's east coast. They promote permaculture, grow vegetables, pineapples, bananas, mango, and other fruits, and catch most of their own seafood. East Coast Cabanas minimizes environmental impact by offering complimentary filtered water and free use of bicycles for guests. They source from local farmers and fishermen, donate to local schools, and support local community events.
