Eco Friendly Solutions

Eco Friendly Solutions produces dehydrated foods to help people live healthier lives and promotes environmental conservation in Sri Lanka. They offer dried thulsi, roselle, hibiscus, moringa, pandan, curry leaves, thebu, kowakka, gotukola, and blue butterfly pea flower, herbal teas, soups, and more. Eco Friendly Solutions raises awareness about healthy food, healthy lifestyles, conscious consumption, and environmental protection. They donate a portion of their profits to ECO-V, a nonprofit voluntary organization, and support the Butterfly Conservation Society of Sri Lanka and the Butterfly Conservation and Research Group of Sri Lanka.


Eco Friends

Eco Friends provides a mobile app to connect households and recycling centers and improve waste management in Sri Lanka. Users enter the recyclable waste they have by category, and Eco Friends organizes collection and delivery to recycling facilities. The app makes it possible to earn Eco Points and track recycled waste by kilo. In addition to addressing a critical environmental issue, Eco Friends creates livelihood opportunities by supporting small-scale recycling enterprises that are registered with the Central Environmental Authority.


Eco Friends Gardening

Eco Friends Gardening aims to make it easier for people to grow their own food and cultivate toxin-free fruits, vegetables, and other plants in their own background. They provide home gardening kits, seedlings, seeds, compost, natural fertilizer, clay and ceramic pots, and gardening equipment. Training and after-sales support are also available. Eco Friends Gardening ensures that all planting materials are from government certified sources.


ECO-g

ECO-g demonstrates organic practices on their farm in the central highlands of Sri Lanka to promote food security, self sufficiency, public health, and resilient rural livelihoods. The region is known for its heavy use of imported synthetic fertilizers and agrichemicals, erosion, loss of soil fertility, and poor standards of living. ECO-g follows a Sustainable Land Management (SLM) approach with crop rotation, intercropping with natural pest repellents, mixed cropping, mulching, cover crops, and rainwater harvesting. They produce their own inputs from on-farm and locally available materials including compost, dried manure, vermicompost, green manure from gliricidia and wild sunflower, fermented cow urine, compost tea, vermiwash, banana peel liquid fertilizers, neem oil, and tobacco decoctions. ECO-g provides consulting services, workshops, demonstrations, and presentations for local government, schools, and low income groups and encourages people to grow their own food even if they only have small spaces. They share their harvest with workers and friends and donate to local community groups and festivals.


Eco Glitter Fun

Eco Glitter Fun was started to bring responsible sparkles and plastic pollution awareness to the world. They are official licensed resellers of Bioglitter®, which is certified for freshwater biodegradability by TÜV Austria. Eco Glitter Fun sells their range of biodegradable glitter in plastic-free packaging. They partner with brands, events, and influencers to spread the word about plastic reduction, and they use their platform to promote other ethical small businesses. Eco Glitter Fun donates 25 percent of sales from their Solidarity blend glitter to support charities selected by their customers and one percent of all sales to Plastic Oceans UK. They have also partnered with Trees for Life to start a corporate grove in Scotland to help offset carbon emissions. Eco Glitter Fun is a member of the Zero Waste Goods community.


Eco Greeners

Eco Greeners aims to help people of all ages express themselves ecologically on their own piece of earth. They specialize in environmentally friendly landscaping and construction materials including organic inputs, coir pots, vertical gardening, green roofs, thermal building blocks and paving stones. Products are made from renewable materials that are recyclable or biodegradable with no toxic residue. Eco Greeners contributes 3 percent of annual profits to community projects and rural schools.


ecoHQ

ecoHQ specializes in content consulting, communication services, and creative advocacy for sustainability and social impact. They help brands market their products and services ethically for impactful outcomes. Their content development work includes articles, speeches, podcast scripts, brochures, business emails, white papers, website content, social media content, professional profiles, press releases, advertorials, and more. ecoHQ uses their own blog, newsletter, social media, and guest posts to help Indians make informed choices about sustainable practices. They raise awareness, disseminate research-based information, and increase the visibility of local initiatives and sustainable businesses. ecoHQ contributes a portion of their profits to carbon offsetting and not-for-profit organizations.


Ecoindian

Ecoindian promotes zero waste and toxin-free healthy living through retail outlets in Chennai and Puducherry, an online store, and a range of sustainable products. The initiative started in 2009 with an online forum on sustainability and expanded to the current social enterprise in 2018. They source fresh produce, natural food, body care, and home products from a network of known organic farmers, local artisans, self-help groups, and small-scale brands. Ecoindian reduces food waste and plastic waste by offering bulk options and working with suppliers to ensure all packaging is compostable, or reusable. They partner with local environmental agencies to raise awareness and support activities with a positive environmental impact.


Ecoist

Ecoist promotes responsible gifting and conscious consumption. They source products from sustainable and ethical local businesses and create beautiful curated gift boxes and corporate gift packs. Popular options include handmade soap and skincare, clothing, accessories, tea, coffee, and natural foods. Ecoist minimizes plastic use and encourages suppliers to switch to environmentally friendly packaging. Three percent of profits are set aside for annual charity donations.


EcoKaari

EcoKaari upcycles single-use waste plastic and creates livelihood opportunities for rural women and youth. They collect hard-to-recycle plastic bags, multilayer packaging, shiny gift wrap, and old audio and video cassette tapes. The plastic is cleaned with biodegradable soap and minimal water, made into fabric using traditional charkha spinning wheels and handlooms, and stitched into unique bags, housewares, custom products, and corporate gifts. The entire process is manual. No electricity, heat, or synthetic chemicals are required. EcoKaari is committed to closing the loop. They repurpose offcuts, offer free lifetime repair, and take back end-of-lifecycle products for repurposing or responsible disposal.


Ecokari

Ecokari produces affordable, plastic-free housewares and accessories in India to help make every home more sustainable. They specialize in kitchen and bathroom essentials, plantable stationery, bags, accessories, and gift hampers made from bamboo, recycled paper, hemp, and other natural materials. Products are made to order in small batches to minimize waste, scrap materials are upcycled or recycled, and orders are shipped in compostable packaging. Ecokari is committed to ethical labor practices and provides a supportive environment for women artisans to collaborate, learn, and grow.

Eco Lanka Consultants has a team of problem solvers and technical specialists to help clients implement environmentally sustainable practices in a financially viable way. Services include sustainability consultation, environmental research and design, project and program evaluation, sustainable business communications and marketing, and vertical garden development.


Eco.lk

Eco.lk manufactures affordable environmentally responsible bags and crafts. Their mission is to raise awareness about how single-use plastic bags harm soil, water, animals, and human health and provide biodegradable and reusable alternatives. Eco.lk bags are made from unbleached cotton amu redhi, cane, reed, natural jute, burlap, and invasive water hyacinth.


EcoMa

EcoMa provides an alternative to clothing made with synthetic chemicals that harm the environment and human health. They use locally available materials to create affordable naturally dyed clothing and accessories in Sri Lanka. EcoMa provides training and creates livelihood opportunities for women in their local community.


Eco Mania

Eco Mania helps businesses switch from plastic packaging and products to environmentally responsible alternatives. They offer customizable mailer bags and courier bags that are waterproof, plastic free, and home compostable. Eco Mania uses their platform to raise awareness about plastic pollution and inspire a change in consumer habits.


ECOMAX Brushes

ECOMAX Brushes offers ethically handmade natural products, creates fair employment opportunities for women in Sri Lanka, and contributes to a more just and plastic-free world. They offer coconut fiber brushes for body care, dishwashing, household cleaning, and pet grooming, loofah scrubs, coconut palm brooms, and other zero waste alternatives through retail partners in Australia and beyond. Their products are designed to last, biodegradable at end-of-life, and certified vegan by The Vegan Society. They support their women producers by providing sustainable employment, a living wage, safe working conditions, flexibility to care for their children, and a free in-house crèche. ECOMAX Brushes is a product line of Import Ants, a fair trade wholesaler that also supplies ECOMAX waterproof pots made from paper and natural latex, Araliya coconut fiber string, and Sinamay abaca fiber gift bags. Import Ants is a member of the Fair Trade Association of Australia and New Zealand and has Fair Traders of Australia verification.


Eco Maximus

Eco Maximus is a social enterprise that produces handmade paper and paper products from recycled materials and Millennium Elephant Foundation elephant dung. They focus on providing livelihood opportunities to rural communities and people with disabilities. Eco Maximus donates 7% of sales to elephant conservation.


EcoMestre

EcoMestre offers sustainable design, packaging, and corporate gifting solutions that empower small-scale artisans across India and contribute to a circular economy. They specialize in kraft paper and cardboard packaging, fabric bags, woven baskets, seed paper cards, and a wide range of environmentally responsible branded products, customized gifts, and curated hampers. EcoMestre evaluates every step of the process from material procurement to manufacture to delivery to minimize carbon footprint and environmental impact. They foster inclusive development by actively supporting artisan groups, nonprofits, and women-run businesses from marginalized communities and donating to their local SOS Children's Village. EcoMotion

EcoMotion focuses on the cost-effective greening of cities, corporations, and campuses across the United States. They promote sustainable energy solutions and offer specialized solar services including site analysis, financial analysis, procurement support, project oversight, and quality control. EcoMotion works with corporations to evaluate their carbon footprint and develop sustainability plans, helps educational institutions implement solar and storage energy systems, microgrids, electric buses, and climate action initiatives, and provides cities and municipalities with planning, design, and implementation services for energy and water efficiency and renewable energy programs. EcoMotion is a certified B Corporation.


Econic

Econic aims to preserve and promote handloom weaving and natural dye techniques and provide a sustainable alternative to fast fashion. They offer clothing and accessories made from plant-dyed handloom fabrics, custom orders, natural dye and eco printing services, and workshops on natural dyeing, eco printing, and block printing with natural dyes. Econic actively works to reduce their carbon footprint and minimize waste, energy consumption, and water use.
