Fertile Earth produces value-added food products in order to increase livelihood opportunities for local farmers, promote sustainable agriculture practices, prevent food waste, and provide alternatives to imported products. They focus on dehydration techniques that preserve nutrients while improving shelf life. Products include sundried tomatoes and powdered local superfoods like gotukola, moringa, garcinia, and kohila. Fertile Earth cultivates their own land in Horana, provides fair trade prices and support for small-scale farmers, and works with government agencies that promote sustainable agriculture practices.


Fields of View

Fields of View is a not-for-profit research organization that designs games and simulations to help make better public policy. They harness the immersive power of games to address real-life issues like urban poverty, energy, transportation, water, disaster management, and waste. Fields of View uses a participatory research methodology and actively engages with local partners and stakeholders at all stages of the design and development process. They have developed games and simulations to elicit public preferences, test policy, model complex systems and build capacity, and make policy accessible across literacy levels and languages.


Fierce Staffing Services

Fierce Staffing offers talent solutions and consulting services while developing a diverse and inclusive workforce. They specialize in hospitality, event planning and execution, brand ambassadors, volunteer management, temp-to-hire, permanent placements, human resources, payroll, employee engagement, and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI). Fierce Staffing recruits individuals with barriers to employment. They work with community partners to provide hospitality and professional development training and customized support like child care, computer training, and mental health resources. After training, participants are eligible for temporary positions with Fierce Staffing clients and have access to continuous improvement programs, industry recognized certifications, and permanent placement opportunities. Fierce Staffing is a women-owned, minority-owned business certified by the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC).


Fifth Origins

Fifth Origins creates fashion and home accessories that combine style, sustainability, and social impact. They work with women artisans in rural India to produce handwoven capes, wraps, shawls, and scarves, hand knit hats and socks, beaded bracelets, and natural soaps, scrubs, and incense. They also offer handwoven muslin blankets from Turkey. All products are artisan made from sustainably sourced natural materials according to conscious design principles. Fifth Origins donates a portion of profits to support artisan communities and other causes. Their Cape of Hope initiative develops child care centers within artisan units to enable more women to join the workforce.


FigTree Farm Collective

FigTree Farm Collective supports sustainable, affordable, and scalable container home projects in the Northern Rivers region in New South Wales to address housing insecurity, support resilient communities, and provide innovative alternatives to traditional housing models. They offer consultations, site assessments, and project management services to support landowners, community organizations, research groups, and charities in developing housing solutions that navigate regulatory challenges, align with circular economy principles, and mitigate financial, environmental, and supply chain risks. Their solutions are designed to overcome local regulatory barriers and delays associated with conventional building methods by accelerating housing delivery through rapid deployment of custom-designed container homes. FigTree Farm Collective offers locally sourced macadamia nuts through their online store and uses the profits to support housing projects in their community. They are a member of WardellCORE.


Filming For Humanity

Filming for Humanity creates impactful storytelling that raises awareness and drives social and environmental change. They help charities tell their stories through film and they provide a platform for actors, musicians, and artists to showcase their skills and contribute to social change through their art. Filming for Humanity actively supports the communities and local businesses involved in their film projects and ensures that women and underrepresented minorities are given a voice and a presence both in front of and behind the camera. They use revenue from film projects for large organizations to create films for smaller charities at no cost. Filming for Humanity is a registered Community Interest Company (CIC) and a member of Social Enterprise UK.


Finance Earth

Finance Earth enables investment into conservation, climate, and communities. They work with private, public, and charitable sector partners in the United Kingdom and internationally to develop opportunities where finance can unlock significant environmental and social impact. This includes designing innovative, investable projects and structuring bespoke investment vehicles to fund them. Finance Earth works to build financial understanding within the conservation sector and conservation understanding within the investment sector. They provide advisory services to leading environmental organizations with a focus on market research, stakeholder engagement, investment analysis, cost modeling, structuring, and fund delivery. Finance Earth is an accredited Living Wage Employer and a member of Social Enterprise UK, Good Finance, Climate Neutral Now, Climate Neutral Launchpad, Aldersgate Group, and the Coalition for Private Investment in Conservation. They are an employee-owned social enterprise with 51 percent of profits reinvested towards their mission.


Finch Healthy Living

Finch Healthy Living makes it easier for Sri Lankans to access healthy products from around the world at affordable prices. They work with an Ecocert and Skal certified supplier to source products that meet their standards for quality, fair trade labor practices, and environmental protection. Their range includes chia, pumpkin, flax, sunflower, and sweet basil seeds, dried blueberries, goji berries, figs, and raisins, almonds, pistachios, hazelnuts, walnuts, quinoa, psyllium husk, and Himalayan salt. Finch Healthy Living contributes 2.5 percent of net assets annually to people in debt and people in need. They also sponsor students for their higher education.


Finklusiv

Finklusiv increases financial inclusion in Denmark by helping unbanked entrepreneurs access business bank accounts, training, and professional services so they can build a successful business and become financially independent. Many of their clients are refugees who started a service sector business to support themselves and others in their community. Banks are often reluctant to provide business banking services to these entrepreneurs due to strict legal requirements, anti-money laundering policies, administrative constraints, and concerns about low margins and limited growth potential. With support from Finklusiv, entrepreneurs are able to increase their financial literacy, understand bank requirements, develop request files, prepare for bank interviews, and access legal services and website development services at preferential rates. Finklusiv increases the visibility of their client businesses and raises awareness about the importance of financial inclusion. They are a member of Sociale Entreprenører i Danmark.


First Innovators

First Innovators helps First Nations entrepreneurs build and grow successful and sustainable businesses to advance the Indigenous business sector in Australia and create pathways for collaboration, community building, Indigenous supply chain development, and economic resilience. They offer culturally responsive business coaching, incubation and acceleration, crowdfunding support, women’s leadership development, community business development, youth entrepreneurship, digital storytelling, and wraparound support. Graduates have access to future programs, events, and workshops and the First Innovators network. First Innovators works with mission-aligned organizations to provide free business coaching and support, helps Indigenous business owners share their products and stories, and actively participates in events that promote the Indigenous community and business sector. They are a member of Social Enterprise Council of NSW & ACT (SECNA). First Innovators is a not-for-profit organization and reinvests all surplus towards their mission.


First Step Staffing

First Step Staffing provides a pathway to economic stability for people facing barriers to employment and staffing solutions to local business partners in Atlanta, Augusta, Philadelphia, Southern California, Nashville, Orlando, Dallas, and Houston. They maintain a ready and motivated workforce, offer temp-to-hire and direct-hire services, and handle background checks, payroll, insurance, protective equipment, and workers' compensation. First Step Staffing provides worksite transportation, ongoing job coaching, and other wraparound support services to people experiencing homelessness, involved with the justice system, or living in chronic poverty. Their Second Step program provides advanced training and helps people move into long-term employment that pays higher wages. First Step Staffing is part of REDF, Stand Together, and Reentry Coalition. They are registered as a 501(c)3 not-for-profit and reinvest all surplus towards their purpose.


Fitgeek

Fitgeek was started by an engineering graduate who realized that he'd developed unhealthy habits and decided to make some lifestyle changes. He eventually became a certified fitness trainer to help other Sri Lankans transition to healthier practices. The Fitgeek Energy Bar was developed to provide an alternative to imported products and unhealthy convenience food. It contains whole grains, nuts, and seeds, and no artificial colors, flavors, preservatives, or refined sugars. Fitgeek is committed to environmental responsibility and uses unbleached compostable packaging for their products.


Fitly Media

Fitly Media aims to help sustainable companies find their true brand voice, make their stories heard, and share the right message, in the right channel, at the right time. They work with a network of mission aligned freelancers to engage in long term partnerships around branding, digital marketing strategies, social media, content creation, advertising, and other consulting services. Fitly Media maintains a paperless office and works to minimize their environmental footprint. They are part of CollAction and the Slow Fashion Movement.


Fit Sugar

Fit Sugar creates healthier alternatives to baked goods and desserts. Their products are vegan and refined sugar free, and they offer options for diabetics, celiacs, and people with allergies and other special dietary needs. Fit Sugar sets aside 10% of profits to donate to local causes and people in need. They also enable customers to contribute to "suspended" cakes which can be redeemed by people from disadvantaged groups who are celebrating a birthday or special occasion.


Fitzrovia Noir

Fitzrovia Noir produces art interventions in underused buildings and neglected neighborhoods with a focus on immersive creative learning and revitalizing spaces with new cultural activity. They work with regeneration schemes, educational institutes, museums, local authorities, and charitable trusts to foster meaningful and inclusive public engagement. Locations have included an abandoned factory in Leytonstone, a hospital scheduled for demolition in Fitzrovia, a former aircraft factory in Hatfield, an old Edinburgh chapel, a London crypt, a Cold War fallout shelter in Peterborough, the winding shed of a 19th century Tyneside coalmine, and a crumbling 13th century French château. At the Aberfeldy Estate in Poplar, they transformed two long-empty retail units into the Tommy Flowers Community Pub and Making Space, commissioned a mural that serves as a focal point for the community, and organized glassblowing workshops, events, and exhibitions. Fitzrovia Noir is a Community Interest Company (CIC) and a member of Social Enterprise UK.


Five Rivers Child Care

Five Rivers helps children recover from neglect, abuse, trauma, or family breakdown, turning their lives around so they can flourish and fulfill their potential. They have been providing specialist children's services since 1989 and are the partner of choice for over 135 local authorities and National Health Service (NHS) trusts. Five Rivers trains and supports foster caregivers, runs independent schools and residential children's homes, and provides crisis intervention, assessment, and therapeutic services. Highly trained clinicians work with their foster caregivers, social workers, teachers, and residential care staff to help them provide the best support to children with complex social, emotional, and mental health needs. Five Rivers is a member of the Children's Home Association (CHA), Nationwide Association of Fostering Providers (NAFP), and Social Enterprise UK and has Investors In People Gold accreditation. They reinvest their surplus towards their purpose.


FIZDBV

Fundación Indigena Zenu de Bellavista (FIZDB) focuses on sustainable development of the indigenous Zenu community in Bellavista. They provide training and support services related to traditional crafts, environmentally responsible agriculture and the cultivation of native plants, and tourism focused on local traditions. These initiatives provide livelihood opportunities while enabling the indigenous Zenu community to maintain their unique culture. Housewares, bags, and other accessories are handwoven from sustainably sourced natural materials. Organic waste is composted and used to cultivate traditional food varieties and raw materials for crafts. FIZDB community members participate in networks for women, indigenous communities, and sustainable agriculture.


Flair Thread

Flair Thread uses patchwork and hand embroidery techniques to create clothing from upcycled cotton and linen fabric remnants. Any unused fabric scraps are sent to another local designer that produces patchwork housewares. They prevent apparel factory waste from going to landfills and provide employment opportunities to women from low income families. Revenue is used to fund the eduction of children in eastern Sri Lanka that lost their parents during the civil war. Flair Thread raises awareness about fast fashion, zero waste, and the importance of bridging the gap between Sinhala and Tamil communities.


Flavor Expedition Co

Flavor Expedition Co produces small-batch craft seasonings to encourage people to prepare food at home, reduce food waste, and come together around the dinner table. Their unique blends are low in sodium and free from gluten, artificial colors, preservatives, and other additives. Flavor Expedition Co sources ingredients from responsible suppliers that are committed to transparency and sustainability. They share simple home recipes online and maintain low margins to keep products affordable for more families. Flavor Expedition Co donates profits from an annual event to a scholarship fund and donates product baskets to raffles and community fundraisers.


Flavours by Seasons

Flavours by Seasons promotes healthy eating and prevents food waste by dehydrating, preserving, and bottling fresh, seasonal crops. They source ingredients from local home gardeners and small-scale farmers and ensure all products are free from artificial flavors, colors, preservatives, and other addititives. Flavours by Seasons offers breakfast cereals and bars made with rice flakes and traditional foods like chutneys, pickles, sambols, and curry pastes. They help people with busy lifestyles access nutritious, natural foods. Products can be vacuum packed for lighter weight international shipping. Flavours by Seasons segregates their waste, makes compost, and recycles cardboard and polythene. They also produce reusable grocery bags from unbleached cotton fabric.
