graffiteez

graffiteez creates custom hand printed T-shirts and bags and is committed to the highest possible environmental, social, and ethical standards. They use water-based screen printing inks that are PVC and VOC free and Earth Positive organic cotton T-shirts and totes that are ethically sourced and manufactured using solar and wind energy. Packaging is made from recycled materials and is either recyclable or compostable. graffiteez uses their platform and their designs to promote environmental responsibility and climate action. Products in their Earth Day collection are shipped with a free pack of bee-friendly wildflower seeds.


Grama

Grama is a brand developed by EarthCare to support village communities through the production and sale of handcrafted natural products for better living. They started by creating direct employment opportunities in their own community of Poochackal in Kerala and now source from a network of women's self-help groups, cooperatives, and local entrepreneurs. The Grama brand includes a full range of natural herbal soaps and household cleaners, coconut fiber dish scrubs, upcycled wood soap dishes, and handloom cotton towels. EarthCare is committed to empowering local women, providing fair wages and safe working conditions, giving back to village communities, and raising awareness about natural products and sustainable living. They created a book bank to provide free notebooks and pencils to village children. EarthCare is part of Women on Wings.


Grandma's Herbals

Grandma's Herbals focuses on wellness, empowering women, and environmental responsibility. Their heat packs are made from upcycled fabric off-cuts and local grain and are offered as an alternative to plastic water bottles for people experiencing menstrual cramps, arthritis, or other aches and pains. Their herbal hair oil is made from naturally grown plants from their own garden. Grandma's Herbals provides discounts to customers that return their glass bottles for refill. Products are handmade by local women in need.


Grannie's Kitchen

Grannie's Kitchen was started to uplift women from poor rural households, create green villages, and contribute to a sustainable economy. They provide free scotch bonnet chili seedlings and organic cultivation training to women in the Akuressa area of southern Sri Lanka. The harvest is used to make scotch bonnet chili sauce and chili jam that is free from synthetic ingredients. Product sales help sustain and expand the program. Grannie's Kitchen is committed to waste reduction. They collect and sterilize glass jars for reuse.


Grans

Grans specializes in natural and sustainably sourced farm-to-table foods. Their desi ghee comes from their own cows, which are raised on mountainous herbs and grasses in the Swat region. Maize is grown in the same area and is made into flour in their own hydro powered mill. Their kehwa green tea is from Peshawar, Kashmir, and Afghan. Bee honey comes from small scale collectors in Lukki Murwat, Karak, Kohat, Nawshehra and Swat. At the Grans Farm in Charsadda, they grow sugarcane and extract the juice to make jaggery. All products are made with no artificial colors, flavors, preservatives, or other additives. Grans donates one percent of profits to social service programs.


Grantoftegaard

Grantoftegaard is a farm in the village of Pederstrup that "sows life and harvests clean groundwater" to create a more sustainable and resilient society. They use organic agricultural production to help people with barriers to education and employment develop life skills and practical work experience. Young people work in teams to cultivate and harvest crops in the fields and greenhouse, care for animals and nature, maintain the facilities, prepare meals and baked goods, serve guests, and learn Danish and mathematics in the Grantoftegaard school. The farm welcomes more than 50,000 visitors each year with a range of activities for nature lovers of all ages. They sell fresh organic produce from an open cart, operate a farm cafe, offer tours and carriage rides, host school groups, meetings, and events, and organize talks and educational programs on ecology and regenerative farming. Grantoftegaard is a social foundation, a registered social enterprise Registreret Socialøkonomisk Virksomhed (RSV), and is authorized to use the Danish organic label Statskontrolleret Økologisk. They are members of Kooperationen and Kooperativ København.


GRASS Cliftonville

Gordon Road Area Street Scheme (GRASS) Cliftonville started in 2003 as a community volunteer group to improve quality of life for local residents and encourage children, young people, families, and elders to actively participate in society and influence the issues and decisions that affect their lives. They create inclusive spaces for residents to access cultural, recreational, and educational experiences like book exchanges, art exhibitions, community gardens, wellbeing classes, and other activities. GRASS Cliftonville assumed responsibility for The Oval Bandstand and Lawns through a community asset transfer and hires the venue for festivals, live entertainment, and other community events. Their nature recovery plan includes wildflower meadows, wildlife corridors, hedgerow planting, and the establishment of tiny forests and a wellness garden. GRASS Cliftonville is a registered Community Interest Company (CIC) and reinvests all surplus towards their mission.


Grasshoppers

Grasshoppers offers e-commerce fulfillment and package delivery services to empower small-scale entrepreneurs and make the benefits of trade accessible to all. The service is based on a network of self-sustaining Grasshopper Hubs and mobile dispatch of Grasshopper Riders who provide "last mile" delivery by cycle or motorbike. The Hubs also make it possible for small-scale entrepreneurs to ship their products anywhere in the world. Grasshoppers benefits the environment by offering an online paperless logistics service, increasing efficiency, and reducing the carbon footprint of door-to-door delivery.


Grassrooted

The Grassrooted Trust was set up to provide a safe space and support for people facing stigma and discrimination in Sri Lanka, including people living with HIV, people who use drugs, people who sell sex, people who have survived gender-based violence, and people of diverse sexual orientation and gender identity. They help these communities develop their own independent grassroots organizations. Grassrooted also works with teachers to supplement and support existing sex education curricula and uses theater productions, workshops, and an interactive online platform called Bakamoono.lk to raise awareness on issues of sexual and reproductive health and rights. Their "Who Made This?" line of mugs, postcards, and t-shirts stimulate dialog and support marginalized communities.


Gravity Organic

Gravity Organic was started by a team of young Sri Lankan entrepreneurs to promote sustainable agriculture, organic food, and healthy living. They supply whole kernel virgin coconut oil at affordable prices with the aim of making healthy, organic food accessible to everyone. Within Sri Lanka, they target small, independent retailers, and internationally, they partner with Asian buyers. Gravity donates to elders' homes, children's homes, and religious institutions in their local area.


Greaterthan

Their ecosystem makes it easier to shop, donate, attend courses and events, find paid and volunteer work, and collaborate with organizations aligned with your values. Greatest Good also offers mentoring, coaching, business support, tools, resources, a grants directory, and a service provider directory for participating for-purpose organizations. Greatest Good is a certified B Corporation. They reinvest a minimum of 50 percent of any profits towards achieving their social purpose.


Great Ideas

Great Ideas Research and Development works with communities in northern Thailand to create community tourism experiences, community products, and other sustainable economic opportunities that leverage local resources and preserve local cultures and the environment. They specialize in participatory action research, design, training, fundraising, business planning, organizational development, digital media, and marketing. Great Ideas also offers a coworking space and learning center to connect social enterprises and support skill development.


Green America

Green America harnesses economic power—the strength of consumers, investors, businesses, and the marketplace—to create a socially just and environmentally sustainable society. Since 1982, they have worked to shift spending and investing to support socially and environmentally responsible businesses and transform corporate supply chains. Green America's consumer education and mobilization campaigns focus on clean energy, sustainable food and agriculture, fair labor, responsible investing, social justice, and green living. Their Green Business Network provides the information, tools, and consumer base that socially and environmentally responsible businesses need to thrive. Green Analysis and Packaging

Green Analysis and Packaging (GAP) offers environmentally responsible packaging solutions that balance visual appeal and sustainability. They specialize in boxes, mailers, mono cartons, stationery, paper bags, and bespoke packaging made from hemp, mushroom, rice chaff, cork, bioplastics, recycled cardboard, plantable paper, and more. They also provide environmental consulting and circular economy analyses. GAP conducts life cycle assessments to evaluate the environmental impact of their products, prioritizes local sourcing in India, and labels products as biodegradable, compostable, recyclable, or plastic-free to guide end-users in proper disposal or recycling.


Green Banana Paper

Green Banana Paper is a social enterprise from the Pacific island of Kosrae that recycles post-harvest banana trees into vegan wallets, bags, paper, business cards, and other banana fiber paper products. They stimulate the local economy by supporting subsistence farmers and providing living wage employment opportunities. Green Banana Paper is committed to environmentally responsible practices. Their production process uses coconut coir biofuels, rainwater harvesting, and solar energy.


Green Bee

Green Bee focuses on increasing Sri Lankans' access to healthy organic foods and lifestyle products. They import organic baby food, seeds, nuts, cereals, personal care products and more to complement products available in the local market.


GreenCare

GreenCare is a startup that produces eco-friendly potted plants for gifts, celebrations, and home decor. They use compost, organic inputs, and pots made from coconut fiber, cane, reed, ceramic, and bamboo. Materials are sourced from local small businesses.


Green Care Organic

Green Care focuses on organic food and farming to improve the health of humans and the environment. Their main products are gotukola and organic fruits and vegetables. They reinvest a portion of all profits to conduct organic workshops in rural areas and support organic cultivation development. Green Care's organic farm in Galkulama, Puttalam is verified under a local participatory guarantee system (PGS). They also operate a supermarket for organic and natural products and support other PGS verified farmers and natural food producers.


Green Choice Lanka

Green Choice Lanka is an environmental advocacy organization focused on reducing disposable plastic waste and making it easier to transition to an environmentally responsible lifestyle. They offer compostable bamboo toothbrushes, bamboo and paper straws, areca leaf kolapath plates, wooden cutlery, and takeaway containers and reusable bottles, mugs, and bags. Green Choice Lanka engages in cleanups and awareness campaigns, works with manufacturing companies to reduce packaging, and partners with other environmental groups to support the transition to a Zero Waste Lanka.
