Social Enterprise Council of NSW & ACT (SECNA)

Social Enterprise Council of NSW & ACT (SECNA) was started to build a thriving social enterprise sector in New South Wales and the Australian Capital Territory. They engage and connect social enterprises, secure investment and policy change, and sustain and grow impact. SECNA maintains a directory of member social enterprises, supports communities of practice, promotes locally hosted Business for Good lunches, organizes events, and represents the interests of social entrepreneurs and social enterprises across their state and territory. They work closely with Social Enterprise Australia, the national peak body, and the peak bodies for other states and territories. SECNA is registered as a not-for-profit organization and reinvests all surplus towards their purpose.


Social Enterprise Direct

Social Enterprise Direct emerged from Advice Direct Scotland, a digital advice hub that provides free services to people in need, to focus on business solutions that could contribute to positive change. They provide inbound and outbound customer service solutions to commercial clients throughout the United Kingdom. Their cutting-edge technology and skilled agents provide a personalized experience and enable customers to get in touch through phone, email, social media, web chat, SMS, or bespoke online portals. Social Enterprise Direct also offers an accredited training academy, debt advice services, and energy services to increase efficiency and reduce energy bills and emissions. Through these services, Social Enterprise Direct is able to provide training and job opportunities for people facing barriers to meaningful employment. Their team specializes in providing compassionate support to all of their clients' customers including people from vulnerable and disadvantaged groups. All profits are reinvested into their parent organization, Advice Direct Scotland, to support communities and individuals in need. They actively partner with other organizations working towards towards poverty reduction and improved access to information and advice. Social Enterprise Direct is a Carer Positive Employer and has Living Wage Employer accreditation.


Social Enterprise East of England (SEEE)

Social Enterprise East of England (SEEE) supports social enterprises across the East of England region to grow, communicate, and demonstrate their impact and social value. Members are able to promote jobs and events, share news, receive event discounts, access sector news, exclusive events, and procurement opportunities, and participate in campaigns, networks, and an online community. SEEE also offers consultancy services and a Social Impact Measurement Toolbox to help social enterprises measure their social impact, plan for sustainable growth, and access investment. They run the Cambridgeshire Social Enterprise Place Network and the Essex Social Enterprise Network. SEEE is a member of Social Enterprise UK. They are a not-for-profit member organization and reinvest all surplus towards their mission.


Social Enterprise Ghana

Social Enterprise Ghana is a network of high-impact social entrepreneurs working together to strengthen the social enterprise ecosystem in Ghana. Members are included in a social enterprise directory, participate in action groups, and have access to events, learning resources, secretariat services, and investment opportunities. Action groups focus on four key areas: learning and innovation, funding and investment, policy and advocacy, and research. Social Enterprise Ghana provides advisory services to help social enterprises become investment ready and is developing the Ghana SE Fund to provide loans at concessional interest rates. They are registered as a not-for-profit company limited by guarantee.


Social Enterprise Group

Social Enterprise Group supports disadvantaged youth in the Greater Geelong region through work programs that build confidence and life skills and create pathways to vocational training and long-term employment. They provide mentorship, paid work placements with partner businesses, wraparound services, and post-program support for local youth and social procurement print services for local buyers. Social Enterprise Group prioritizes print suppliers that are Green Print Certified or focused on environmentally responsible practices. They donate to youth-focused nonprofits like Cottage by the Sea and reinvest all surplus to expand opportunities for local youth.


Social Enterprise Lanka

Social Enterprise Lanka was started to help create a thriving social enterprise ecosystem in Sri Lanka by 2025 with thousands of self-identifying social enterprises employing hundreds of thousands of people and delivering measured social, environmental and economic impact. Social Enterprise Lanka coordinates training programs and workshops, manages a social enterprise membership directory, supports impact measurement and reporting, and organizes social enterprise awards to recognize the efforts of Sri Lankan social entrepreneurs.


Social Enterprise Minneapolis Saint Paul

Social Enterprise Minneapolis Saint Paul (MSP) is a movement of businesses, organizations and individuals building a purpose-driven economy that creates equity for all. They amplify the stories, ideas, and perspectives of local changemakers, connect social enterprises with events, resources, and opportunities, support collective action, offer an accessible resource hub, and form strategic partnerships for a vibrant impact ecosystem. Social Enterprise MSP is committed to a culture of inclusion and welcomes people of any gender identity or expression, race, ethnicity, age, size, nationality, sexual orientation, ability level, neurotype, religion, elder status, family structure, culture, political opinion, education level, identity, and self-identification. They believe that amazing things happen when people from different worlds and worldviews approach each other to create a conversation. Social Enterprise MSP participates in national and global networks including Social Enterprise Alliance, Buy Social USA, Impact Hub, B Local, Conscious Capitalism, and Catalyst 2030.


Social Enterprise Network of Victoria (SENVIC)

Social Enterprise Network Victoria (SENVIC) aims to connect, support, and develop a thriving social enterprise community in the state of Victoria. They increase the visibility of the sector, organize events and activities, facilitate capacity building and shared learning, engage in advocacy and policy development, and generate opportunities for social enterprise practitioners and enablers. SENVIC maintains a member directory, online resource hub, and a state-wide network of local leads. They helped develop a Purpose Precinct for social enterprises in Melbourne's Queen Victoria Market. SENVIC works closely with Social Enterprise Australia, the national peak body, and the peak bodies for other states and territories.


Social Enterprise Network Tasmania (SENTAS)

Social Enterprise Network Tasmania (SENTAS) was started to support and promote Tasmania's social enterprise sector. They aim to build thriving social enterprise communities and a strong and united voice through sector leadership, learning and development opportunities, networking, and advocacy campaigns. SENTAS works closely with Social Enterprise Australia, the national peak body, and the peak bodies for other states and territories. They are registered as a not-for-profit organization and reinvest all surplus towards their purpose.


Social Enterprise NI

Social Enterprise NI represents, connects, supports, develops, and sustains vibrant businesses across Northern Ireland to create social change. They focus on marketing, networking, capacity building, lobbying, advocacy, and collaboration between social enterprises and the public and private sectors. Social Enterprise NI provides a space where social enterprises, irrespective of size or experience, can collaborate, share knowledge, information, and best practices, and have their voices heard. They are an independent, member-led, not-for-profit organization.


Social Enterprise NL

Social Enterprise NL is a national membership body that represents, connects, and supports the growing community of social enterprises in the Netherlands. They increase the visibility of members, offer online manuals, tools, and master classes, and coordinate workshops, peer-to-peer meetings, coaching, accelerators, and events. Buy Social, their social procurement program, helps companies and government agencies achieve social and environmental goals by purchasing from social enterprises. Members are able to participate in Buy Social events with potential buyers and add their products and services to the online Social Impact Market. Social Enterprise NL works with educators, researchers, municipalities, policy makers, impact investors, and others to raise awareness about social enterprise and help create a more favorable ecosystem. They are a member of Euclid Network.


Social Enterprise Republic of Ireland

Social Enterprise Republic of Ireland (SERI) was formed by leading social enterprise practitioners and supporters to make Ireland a world-class ecosystem for social enterprise. Their strategy includes four pillars: awareness, representation, support, and relationships. They increase public awareness and understanding of social enterprise, demonstrate the value to Ireland’s economy and society, champion the sector nationally and internationally, and help social enterprises build connections and access information and opportunities. SERI collaborates with support organizations and facilitates relationships with local and national government, international bodies, and the private sector. They reinvest all surplus towards their social mission.


Social Enterprise Scotland

Social Enterprise Scotland is an independent, membership-led organization that unites and represents social enterprises in Scotland. They support members with news, information, and advice, champion and promote social enterprises to the media and the public, and campaign to create a supportive policy environment for social enterprises. Social Enterprise Scotland maintains a directory of members, shares social enterprise job listings, organizes an annual awards event, and maintains online resources. Their Social Enterprise Places program recognizes local areas where social enterprise activity is thriving, and their Buy Social Scotland campaign makes it easier to purchase from Scottish social enterprises. Social Enterprise Scotland works closely with local social enterprise networks, community networks, and business networks across Scotland. They are registered as a Scottish Company Limited by Guarantee and reinvest all profits to support their membership.


Social Enterprise UK

Social Enterprise UK (SEUK) is a national membership body for social enterprise that aims to create a favorable environment for social enterprises to thrive. SEUK conducts research, provides information and tools, shares knowledge, builds networks, raises awareness, and runs campaigns. Their Buy Social Corporate Challenge is the world's largest commitment to social procurement. They also organize expert speakers, host international delegations, and offer tailored consultancy packages. SEUK serves social enterprises of all sizes. Their first band of membership is free for organisations with turnovers below £100,000.


Social Entrepreneurship Netzwerk Deutschland

Social Entrepreneurship Netzwerk Deutschland (SEND) was started to bring together social enterprises in Germany, increase their visibility, and give them a greater voice. The network includes hundreds of social enterprise members and supporting members that connect through online channels, workshops, events, working groups, and regional groups. They are working together to improve the political and financial framework for social entrepreneurship. This includes developing a federal social innovation strategy, expanding financial instruments for social enterprise, and establishing social innovation and startup centers throughout the country. SEND conducts an annual study on the needs, challenges, and potential of social entrepreneurs in Germany, works with other stakeholders through the Meta-Akteursnetzwerk, and coordinates campaigns like Buy Social Deutschland to help corporations include social enterprises in their supply chains. SEND is registered as a not-for-profit association and is part of Euclid Network.


Social Founder Network

The Social Founder Network connects, supports and promotes founders of social enterprises and charities. Through training programs, conferences, and events, they offer a mix of practical and personal support, connections, information and inspiration. The Social Founder Network also provides media and communications support. They share social founder stories to inform and inspire wider audiences.


Social Good Outpost

Social Good Outpost creates social good through communication, design, and impact services. They work with social enterprise, business, and government to provide impact measurement, communication design, strategic mentoring, curated events, and international diplomacy programs. For every 10 hours of fully paid work, they offer one hour of pro bono coaching, mentoring, design assistance, and design services to women and LGBT+ entrepreneurs. Social Good Outpost partners with Global Sisters to help migrant and refugee women, single mothers, and disadvantaged women start and grow their own business. They are a Social Traders Certified Social Enterprise and a member of Social Enterprise Network of Victoria (SENVIC), Queensland Social Enterprise Council (QSEC), and Social Enterprise Network of NSW and ACT (SECNA).


Social Impact Listings

Social Impact Listings is a resource directory that enables changemakers to find opportunities and amplify their social impact. They aggregate information on impact enablers, service providers, programs, events, jobs, podcasts, blogs, videos, and other resources related to the social impact space. They also offer bespoke secondary research to provide customized lists and data sets for impact making organizations. Social Impact Listings is part of Next San Diego and Be Social Change.


Social Impact Support

Good Market is a curated platform that brings together people creating a better world. All of the vendors on the site have been through an application and review process to ensure they meet Good Market standards and are good for people and good for the planet.


Social Innovation Lab

The Social Innovation Lab enables change-makers to build sustainable social enterprises, create ecosystems that support social innovation, and push for human-centered policy-making. The Hatchery is an early-stage social enterprise incubator; the Social Innovation Consultancy offers impact assessment services to organisations dedicated to improving and measuring their footprint; Beyond the Buzz, their research wing, supports data-driven, evidence-based strategy and policy making; and SILSkills is a series of knowledge workshops and immersion programs to benefit the entrepreneurial ecosystem in Pakistan. Social Innovation Lab has worked with over one hundred social enterprises that have impacted millions of people in Pakistan and beyond. They prioritize innovators working in low-income communities or designing products and services that cater to underprivileged areas. In response to recent environmental catastrophes, SIL is strengthening its focus on circular design and regenerative development approaches. Social Innovation Lab is a member of the Aspen Network of Development Entrepreneurs, Global Social Entrepreneurship Network, the Talloires Network, and Frontier Incubators.
